Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours)
The BPhil is UWA's flagship honours-entry undergraduate program. It runs as a parallel degree — you complete it alongside a named degree in another discipline. Students are expected to maintain a 75 WAM throughout, and the cohort is deliberately small.
The degree focuses on independent inquiry, research methods, and deep engagement with a chosen field. My parallel degree combines finance and computer science under the Bachelor of Commerce/Science.
Introduction to the principles of financial accounting, including the preparation and interpretation of financial statements.
Database design, SQL querying (SQLite and PostgreSQL), normalisation, and practical data management skills.
Independent research project examining housing affordability in Perth as part of the BPhil inquiry stream.
